Urban Decay

As infrastructure ages, wood rots and concrete decays. As buildings fall farther into neglect, it is no longer advantageous to continue spending money on repairs. Such structures are abandoned and left to deteriorate in the elements, eventually collapsing to the ground. As time marches on, more homes and buildings will end their lives this way.

General stores were once the centre of the community. Before the introduction of grocery and large box stores, the general store ruled. These establishments dotted the small communities of Ontario, suppling the staples and more for those who lived there. Many of these stores are still standing today, often selling much different products than they
