Imagine my surprise when I opened an email from Archway Publishing and saw the photo below. It was a promotional message, discussing the value of participating in literary events, with an invitation to attend book signings in Toronto, Chicago, and Miami. The photo of myself was taken in Miami last fall, with another author I had previously met in Toronto. I greatly enjoy meeting eager readers and providing a signed copy of one of my books.
